From Mozart to Madonna inc. (mo2ma) is a not-for-profit organisation which is dedicated to promoting music education and appreciation. It has been entered on the Commonwealth Register of Cultural Organisations under the Ministry of the Arts. From Mozart to Madonna hold seminar-type concerts several times per year which include a recital of mostly classical music as well as an educational talk on topics such as musicology, psychology of music and music history by expert presenters. Events will be open to the public, but will be offered at a reduced price to members (free for volunteers). These concerts will be of interest to all music lovers and an excellent supplement to the education of music students. We also aim to provide performance opportunities to some of Sydney’s most talented young musicians. This new work does indeed blend the syles of Telemann and Tommy Tycho, and was composed especially for From Mozart to Madonna and the Sydney Mandolin Orchestra.
