From Mozart to Madonna inc. (mo2ma) is a not-for-profit organisation which is dedicated to promoting music education and appreciation. It has been entered on the Commonwealth Register of Cultural Organisations under the Ministry of the Arts.

From Mozart to Madonna hold seminar-type concerts several times per year which include a recital of mostly classical music as well as an educational talk on topics such as musicology, psychology of music and music history by expert presenters. Events will be open to the public, but will be offered at a reduced price to members (free for volunteers).

 These concerts will be of interest to all music lovers and an excellent supplement to the education of music students. We also aim to provide performance opportunities to some of Sydney’s most talented young musicians. Music lovers will enjoy mingling with like-minded individuals and meeting the presenters and musicians.

'From Telemann to Tycho'
This concert will feature the premiere of a composition by Maestro Tommy Tycho. This new work does indeed blend the syles of Telemann and Tommy Tycho, and was composed especially for From Mozart to Madonna and the Sydney Mandolin Orchestra. The program will also include some chamber music, a guitar duo and a short educational presentation on 'The Mozart Effect'.
Ticket prices are:
$30 singles; $25 seniors; $20 pensioners and students.

August 22: "Ben Adler &  Strelitzia Trio

Young violinist Ben Adler greatly impressed our audience last year with both his virtuosity and his lyrical tone. Ben will be returning to play for us several well-loved works in addition to the vibrant Strelitzia Trio, winners of the prestigious Musica Viva Chamber Music award in 2009.
